HEATDRAWN Launches “The Thread,” AI-Powered Digital Museum Exploring Obituaries and Legacy

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Los Angeles, CA — December 15, 2024

HEATDRAWN today announced the launch of The Thread, a digital narrative experiment using artificial intelligence to analyze obituary data and surface patterns across seemingly unrelated lives.

The project combines computational analysis with human oversight to explore how memory, legacy, and public record intersect.

By examining obituary language at scale, The Thread reveals recurring themes about ambition, loss, faith, work, and identity—offering a new lens into how lives are remembered.

The project is published on Beehiiv and can be found at followthethread.beehiiv.com.
