Ethan Ward to Deliver Keynote Address at Bellwether Housing’s “Closer to Home” Luncheon

HEATDRAWN founder and award-winning journalist Ethan Ward will deliver the keynote address at Bellwether Housing’s annual “Closer to Home” luncheon on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Seattle Convention Center.

The event convenes policymakers, nonprofit leaders, funders, and housing advocates to advance solutions to regional housing insecurity.

Using his own experience with homelessness, Ward’s address will examine how narrative framing influences public understanding of housing and homelessness policy and the structural forces shaping affordability in American cities.

Bellwether Housing’s annual luncheon serves as a primary fundraising event for the organization’s housing development and preservation initiatives.
