HEATDRAWN Launches “REPUTATION,” Limited Series Podcast Examining Housing, Power, and Public Narrative

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Los Angeles, CA — April 7, 2023

HEATDRAWN announced today the launch of REPUTATION, a nine-episode limited series podcast examining homelessness, housing policy, and the narratives cities use to define who belongs.

Executive produced by journalist Ethan Ward, the series investigates how language, media framing, and public policy shape public understanding of housing insecurity.

The podcast features interviews with policymakers, housing advocates, and community leaders, including a 27-minute conversation with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass during a critical period in the city’s housing response.

REPUTATION asks how reputation—individual and civic—functions as a mechanism of power in conversations about displacement and belonging.

The series is available on major streaming platforms.
